Zesty Whisky Sour

Zesty Simple Syrup
Directions
- Place the zest, sugar and water in a small sauce pan.
- Bring to a quick simmer over medium-high heat then immediately remove from heat.
- Let sit for 30 minutes then strain.
- Store refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
Cocktail
Directions
- Measure the whiskey, lemon juice and Zesty Simple Syrup into a cocktail shaker.
- Fill with ice, cap and shake.
- Pour into an old fashioned glass.
- Garnish with lemon wedge and cherry on a pick.
